Carolyn Wicker, DVM
Medical Director

Dr. N Carolyn Wicker’s father always told her that she could do anything she set her mind to, and she took it to heart. Dr. Wicker decided to become a veterinarian when she was only six years old!

After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Wicker called 303 Animal Clinic and asked for an interview. She was offered the job and has been here ever since. Dr. Wicker served as an Associate Veterinarian for her first five years at the practice before becoming a partner, then purchased the clinic and became the hospital President.

Dr. Wicker is a member of various veterinary organizations and has served on the Texas Veterinary Medical Board of Ethics and Grievances. She’s very active in the community and has served on the Chamber of Commerce Board, the Grand Prairie Animal Control Board, the Grand Prairie United Charities Board, and many more! A small sampling of her personal awards includes the Woman of the Year recognition from the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce, the Heroes for Children Award from the Texas Education Agency, and the 2014 Community Award for Outstanding Service.

At home, Dr. Wicker has two dogs: Kinsey, a miniature phantom poodle; and Gracie Lou, a stubborn miniature poodle.

Scott Tobermann, DVM

Dr. Scott Tobermann grew up in Alabama. One day, his family dog had an unfortunate encounter with a truck. Luckily, the local veterinarian was able to work his magic; Dr. Tobermann’s beloved pet was healed! Dr. Tobermann was so inspired that he decided to dedicate himself to the veterinary medical field.

Dr. Tobermann attended Texas A&M University for his undergraduate degree in biomedical and animal science. He was accepted to veterinary school and graduated in 1990, then practiced for a year in Miami Florida and another year in Plano, Texas. In 1992, he joined the 303 Animal Clinic family. Dr. Tobermann particularly enjoys the variety of cases he gets to see every day—no two patients are exactly the same!

Besides his personal small animal pets Dr. Tobermann has a small cow/calf operation and enjoys working with and raising his cattle.

Outside of his interests in the veterinary world, Dr. Tobermann is an avid runner and has completed one full marathon and three half-marathons. He also enjoys computers and network maintenance, hunting, and fishing in the great outdoors.
